Early Start - Early Years' Initiatives

Targeted schools and pre-school settings will be offered the following:

• 'Play and language' workshops and courses for parents/ carers to look at early language development with 0-3 year aids.
• 'Early Start' 36 hour courses, designed to enhance language development and everyday interactions between parents/carers and their babies and young children of 0-3 years.
• 'Playing with language' 36 hour courses to enable parent/carers to improve their skills and help them prepare for their children's entry to school. 3-5 years.
