'Parents Learning Children Learning' consists of individual 20 hour courses for parents/carers. They are delivered by experienced family learning tutors or internally by teachers who are fully funded.
Parents are accredited for each course. The courses are as follows:

Computers, Parents and the School Curriculum. Understanding how computers can be used as an aid to children's learning and their place in the school curriculum.

Reading and Writing with Children. Understanding the learning involved in reading and writing, literacy in school and how to support their children's learning at home.

Playing Together. Understanding the value of play in children's learning.

Making Learning Resources. Understanding the learning process and making, using and evaluating appropriate learning resources.
