'Step Ahead' and 'Family Finance' are fully funded courses for targeted schools/establishments where parents/carers and children may have significant literacy and/or numeracy needs.
Teachers work in partnership with 'skills for life' tutors to improve standards of literacy and/or numeracy for both parents/carers and children. Parents/carers will have the opportunity of achieving the national tests. The 'Step Ahead' course lasts for either 40 or 80 hours and the' Family Finance' course lasts for 30+ hours.
