Fees and how to pay

Course fees

Course fees are exempt from VAT.  Payment is required in full at enrolment, unless you are paying by instalments by direct debit.  You can pay by credit or debit card, cash, cheque or direct debit (conditions apply) Cheques must be payable to Somerset County Council.  Cash must NOT be sent in the post.

You may be entitled to a reduction in tuition fees if you meet specific qualification criteria or are in receipt of benefits.  Please enquire at time of enrolment.

If the cost of the course is over £100 and runs for more than one term you are entitled to pay by direct debit.  For details call 0845 688 0488; on enrolment you will be required to pay 25% of the course fee and complete a direct debit mandate.

The cost is the amount you pay for the course tuition – this will usually include exam fees and some materials may be included, so we suggest you do not buy any materials for your course until after your first session.
