Case Study: Certificate in Administration (QCF)

The level 2 Certificate in Administration courses have been a huge success again this year. Not only are learners achieiving excellent results but some are gaining employment. The types of job roles range from working in an administration capacity for a charity to handling all the administration for small local business right up to dealing with customers at Centre Parcs.

This popular course covers all areas of administration and is now available at level 3; this level provides learners with the knowledge and understanding to carry out a range of non-routine administration tasks in a more senior or supervisory role in a modern and practical way that is relevant to the work context.

Determined to succeed

Emma Norris joined the level 2 course last March having spent seven years at home with her children. As the course progressed her confidence grew.

Three weeks before the course finished, she applied for and was successful in achieving a job as an office administrator. Emma also achieved a distinction in word processing and is now studying for her ECDL Extra certificate.
